As a locksmith, I find this product to be so useful. It is by far the best product for the Locksmithing industry. It does not come up the pins the keys slide in effortlessly so for maintenance it lasts for years and doesn’t dry up like other products won’t collect dirt. It is the go to for locksmiths.

Let me start with this stuff is terrific, I bought it to lube some stuck bicycle shifters. Shimano rapid fire. The shifting pawls were stuck. In the past I have always had to disassemble them to clean and lubricate them. When reading reviews I noticed a lot of complaints that it didn't come with that silly little red straw to pin point lubricate small parts. Well not being one to be defeated by a plastic straw I simply picked up a spare from the front of my tool box ( I keep a few from expended cans ) put it on the sprayer and stuck it inside the shifters gave each a squirt that flushed them clean and flipped them back and forth a few times and was back in business with minimal effort. I can't wait to try it on a few other parts as it works better than anything else I have tried. Bye the way I was a certified Master Technician A.S.E. for decades and have nothing but pity for anyone that admits defeat by something so simple. This stuff is great just save an old straw or two from a used up can. Buy it, use it, be a winner not a whiner.

While this is a pressurized version of the old faithful squeezy bottle that I use on our bicycles, I find it is not quite as good as ZEP Super Bust Rust penetrant that I use in my automotive repair shop for loosening stuck fasteners. The ZEP is pretty much a do-it-all, and penetrates much more quickly than the Tri-Flow does. I'm pretty sure that Tri-Flow isn't a rust penetrant, so I may be comparing apples to oranges here. However, Tri-Flow hangs around longer than the ZEP or WD-40, for that matter. Squeaky door hinges? Tri-Flow to the rescue! And, here in the desert, we have freezing temperatures in winter, which can lead to frozen car door locks. Tri-Flow has so far (past two winters) kept the ice at bay. I'm not talking sub-zero, Wisconsin ice, just 22 degree stuff, so use it at your own discretion.
